The EPIP Industrial Heritage Programme was a community-based heritage programme that aimed to support and secure the long-term future of Industrial Heritage within the EPIP area.
The project was co-funded by LEADER and English Heritage and ran between December 2010 and November 2013. It supported local volunteer groups involved with Industrial Heritage, as well as developing new community projects to improve understanding, interpretation and local involvement with Industrial Heritage in the EPIP area.
Today agriculture remains an important industry in our region. You will find plenty of local produce in the shops of our villages and market towns. Our produce offers so much variety and people continue to earn a living from the land.

This site was developed with financial support from the East Peak LEADER programme.
South Yorkshire Funding Advice Bureau (SYFAB) supports voluntary and community organisations to get the resources they need.

Stocksbridge Walkers are Welcome has been established to encourage recreational walking in the Stocksbridge area, for the benefit of local people and businesses.
TPTcv (Penistone - Dunford Bridge) is a voluntary organisation which carries out practical work conserving the Trans Pennine Trail between Penistone and Dunford Bridge. The group organises workdays on Saturdays and during the week and undertakes a wide variety of tasks, maintaining the trail as a pleasant natural environment for the benefit of all its users.
The Yorkshire Garland website is run by the Yorkshire Garland Group, a Yorkshire-wide not-for-profit organization for the promotion of Yorkshire folk song. The Group has initiated several education programmes in schools and in the community at large. The website contains audio, scores, texts, provenances, etc. on about 140 Yorkshire songs.
