Update on Beacons (July 2010)
The intention of this project is to erect a series of 3-4 metre high Beacons and possible spectator areas, information and interpretation boards in visible spots across the EPIP area. Bolsterstone Beacon is now completed. Click on the link below for further information.
Bradfield Parish Council Walks and Trails (July 2010)
Bradfield Parish Council has recently been offered a grant to promote and develop walking in the parish. Detailed walk leaflets will be produced and will also be made available electronically for download. Each walk will be waymarked and interpretation boards will be erected providing information about the area, such as the Dale Dyke dam flood disaster. The project will also improve and upgrade existing countryside furniture and enhance the area as a destination for visitors.

East Peak for Young People (April 2010 onwards)
The East Peak for Young People project, delivered by Sheffield Wildlife Trust, will provide activities for 11-16 year olds in the East Peak LEADER area.
East Peak - the villages of poetry (March 2010 onwards)
A grant to Art in the Park has been approved by the East Peak Innovation Partnership for support for a volunteer training programme for local people in Stannington, Penistone and Denby Dale.
Community History through the Arts (February 2010 onwards)
The Community History through the Arts project, led by Steel Valley Beacon Arts, will develop a musical drama, celebrating and commemorating the history of the communities in the Stocksbridge area.
East Peak Faith Site Heritage Interpretation Project (January 2010 onwards)
The historic value of churches and chapels across the East Peak LEADER area together with their potential as heritage attractions will be highlighted thanks to a new LEADER funded project.
Village & Community Hall Renewal and Development (December 09)
