New website for Stocksbridge & District History Society
Stocksbridge & District History Society received a LEADER grant of over £20,000 to digitise their extensive archive. Members of the group spent over 1000 hours of volunteer time since October 2010 assisting with the preparation of the new website www.stocksbridgehs.co.uk.
The LEADER grant also enabled the group to purchase equipment and receive training to enable them to digitise further items for the website.
