Penistone FM
Penistone FM was the first project to be supported under the East Peak LEADER programme. Capital funding was awarded for transmission and broadcasting equipment and studio set up costs.
The station will broadcast on 95.7FM and will also stream live from the website. Penistone FM officially launched on 6th June 09.
EPIP approved the bid promptly providing funding support and challenged Penistone FM to procure equipment promptly which was achieved within EPIP's target. Penistone FM Community Radio are delighted with approval of funding as it allowed us to move quickly towards the installation of the station.
