Walking in Denby Dale & Kirkburton
The Denby Dale area project will produce 14 trails, each with an accompanying leaflet also available electronically via a new website. The trails will be properly waymarked with much improved “countryside furniture” and will be maintained by volunteers on an “Adopt A Path” scheme overseen by the Countryside Officer. The project is a prelude to a bid for national “Walkers are Welcome” status.
The Kirkburton project includes the design, print and promotion of 11 themed walks in the Kirkburton parish. The walks are only in written draft format at present. These will be updated and leaflets produced which will be available free of charge and on the Kirkburton Parish Council website. For further information please contact us.
